Life since the 16th September…

Hiii!!!!

Guys I am totally sorry about hardly posting lately, I’ve either been super busy or just not really being interested in blogging or practically having nothing of interest to blog about!

However, Joe would say otherwise as since the last time I posted a lot has happened!

//

So I’m looking on my phone gallery and wow many photos! Such photo, much vain. But yeah like I remembered a while back that me and Joe went to Wetherspoon’s and had some pitchers and it was amazing!

I’d never even tried purple rain before and we both got pitchers and it was amazing, I loved them. I even went a lil’ bit tipsy. (I’m a lightweight but hey, it’s good cos I don’t need to spend much money when out 😉 )

Here’s the selection of photos I got on that day…. (They’re not in order btw)

Did I even talk about the Glossybox I received?

I don’t even know anymore! I don’t think I did so, I’ll briefly do it now!

So in last months box it was the ‘Style’ edition and I really loved the cover for it. It was like a watercolour on the front of a woman with a beautiful dress, and it stood out for me and was beautiful.

Inside my box was:

Bellapierre – Shimmer Powder costing at £12.99

Marsk – Eyeshadow Brush Pro costing £16.70

Maria Nila – Luminous Colour Hair Masque costing a whopping £18.95

Invisibobble – Traceless Hair Ring costing £4.00

and Nails Inc – Nail Polish coming in at £11.00

My favourite from these was the hair masque, as I recently dyed my hair back black! YAY! It’s my favourite hair colour and it makes me look even more pale and therefore I love it! I’ll show here…

But yeah the hair masque kept my hair luscious and soft. I would deffo buy this when I run out!

Then it came up to the time when I started my second year at University to study Graphic Design! And also it was Joe’s time to study his first year at University and he’s studying Music and Sound for Image! – AT THE SAME UNI GUYS, IT’S A BIG DEAL!

So we went to freshers fair together and if you’re from America or another country and have no idea what that is? It’s basically where there’s lots of stalls and they basically give you free things! It’s gr8 getting things for free like YAAAASSSSS PLS. However, I did buy a Revolution discount card and again, if you have no idea what Revolution is… It’s a good vodka bar so LOOK IT UP.

GO AND DRINK THE SALTED CARAMEL VODKA (ONLY IF UR LEGAL PLS)

Then on the Tuesday we went out for a night out in Huddersfield, and literally stayed at Revolution all night. We only went into there and another bar called Five. It was an okay night overall! I didn’t get many pictures but the ones I did make me really happy! I also got some on my INSTAX which I will put under here too!

/ So again, I’ll post the pictures of the crazy and wonderfully amazing freebies we both got down below…

Then I got a parcel in the mail and was completely shocked. My next door neighbour actually took it for as I must’ve been at Uni so my dear neighbour took it and was really scared as she didn’t want to drop it as the package was so heavy! I was like “huh?” Heavy? Glass? I ain’t ordered nothin….

Then I remembered that I had emailed a company called G.F Smith, and they are a paper supplier. AMAZING WORK BTW* and they had been working on a particular book for 18 months, yes. I know crazy! But it was worth their handwork and dedication because the book is stunning! / You may be thinking that a book, that’s filled with different colour paper/card or textures is strange…

And yes, you are probably right in thinking that, however as a hopeful graphic designer I thought that it was quirky, unique and beautiful. Again it was freeeeee! I love free things as you can see.

Pictures again will be below here:

Then at Uni again there was a “Vintage Fair” – now I have strong opinions about this because it wasn’t vintage. It was old high end shop stuff. Last years at Uni was vintage. This was just old school Topshop, Miss Selfridge etc. So yeah…

NOT VINTAGE GUIZ

However, in saying that I did buy two beautiful pieces of clothing. The first was a dress from Miss Selfridge I believe and new the dress cost £120, and I bought the dress for £20, BARGAIN M8 / Also it was a beautiful Great Gatsby style and again I was in love and needed this dress.

The other was a leather luxe pink pleated skirt, again beautiful so I needed it and that only cost me £12. So overall I was quite impressed just not vintage…

Then the same day I went to Ann Summer’s with Joe (INNOCENT I SWEAR!) to just look at sale stuff cos I’m cheap. lol. But yeah, and I saw a beautiful PJ set camisole set and it was purple satin and I loved it and then I needed it… So yeah I bought it. It was amazing like purple sleek satin. I cannot remember how much it cost either…

Then a few days / weeks later I was shopping again and bought a range of things! I bought a disc drive for my MacBook which was a Samsung one and cost me £20, again bargain.

I then bought some real technique sponges! 1 for £5.99 or 2 for £9.99… No brainer really is there?

I also bought some new liquid foundation, which is different for me as I don’t even wear liquid foundation. However, it blended so well to my skin that I needed it. Sorry bank account.

Then I bought Adventure Time: The ART of OOO! Which I got for £22.49

And Joey bought me Howl’s Moving Castle, the movie adaptation manga! Which made me so happy that I could’ve cried in the store. It’s amazing. I love Howl’s Moving Castle too and then a couple weeks later aka (last week) he bought me the My Neighbour Totoro one >.<

LUCKY GIRL ME!

Then recently I bought the NEW Nintendo 3DS, Happy Home Designer Edition, which I love. It is my favourite. I love it. It makes me so happy and I got the Isabelle amiibo card too which is No.1 and I’m more over the moon. Then Joe bought me Animal Crossing New Leaf just because he wanted me to have it ahahah. He’s so sweet. I LOVE HIM OKOKOK :DDDD

Then on Tuesday aka yesterday I bought some DOC MARTENS!!! Which I loove I’ve been needing these shoes for such a long time but could never justify buying them, which is lame. However, I finally went and took the dive and bought my new babies!

I did have to go back and swap them though, as I found a huge scuff on them and wasn’t best happy! But I got them swapped and again, I’m over the moon! Picture below 😀

Joe also bought a Nintendo Wii U, and he’s currently playing Smash Bros as I type this so yeah, he really loves his new toy too! >.<
