~~ My new blog! ~~

This is just a short post, however, I have moved to a new platform!

I am now on Squarespace, and I have set up my own professional looking blog. I have my own domain name, and no – it is not this…

My new blog is:

I look forward to seeing you over on my new blog!!

~~Quick mini update~~

Hi, guys, I’m back with a short mini update, I’m wondering about upgrading mu blog?!

I’m kinda what to become a proper professional, blogger and I was wondering with my current blog URL is it maybe jus’ a smidge long. I was thinking of creating a whole new blog. Something that is still very me, and part of this blog (I will never get rid of this WordPress, anyway)

I was thinking of maybe switching to a wix blog? Does anyone have any good feedback from them as a blog holder? Or shall I take the plunge and completely go self-hosted and with a suitable domain?

I really have no clue with this so, I’d really like some guidance!

~~ New Job ~~

Hi, everyone! The time has now come to talk about my new job! I’m so excited to tell you about how I came to get this exciting new start in a job I have not much experience in!

So a bit of backlog, I’d been at WHSmith on the M62 for two years! I started back in 2014 and I was a timid girl that wanted to keep to herself. During my time there, I opened up so much and was more relaxed in having a job. I felt like I knew what I was doing when I got to work etc. But until recently I got a little tired of the same day in and day out kind of work, even though I was only doing two days a week. It bored me. But I still enjoyed working there.

I then decided to look for job vacancies around where I live, so I started looking on Indeed.co.uk / and was looking for places to work in these areas:

Brighouse, Halifax, Huddersfield and Bradford.

And as always, there wasn’t really anywhere hiring where I was looking. It sucked.

I then took a punt and searched in Leeds, and low and behold I found a new shopping center opening up. I took a look to see what shops were hiring there and I came across one for Anthropologie. Now I’d heard of this store before but I knew that it wasn’t anywhere that I could get to frequently. I believe the closest really, is in London. I live like far away from London (obvs) / However, I decided to go for it, and I soon applied for a job with their company.

A day later, I got an email asking to go for an interview. I was really shocked. I literally had no idea what to say. I replied back saying YES! I was really over the moon with this but also really scared.

For the interview, I wore a mustard turtleneck jumper from Urban Outfitters, I then wore these black overalls from New Look, and I wore these quirky socks that I bought in Japan and for shoes, I wore my very pastel trainers. I also wore my Forest Green and Pink Kanken. I didn’t really feel like I dressed for their store, however, I dressed to show my style and that it was fun and really unique.

Pictures of my interview outfit:

I then had like the most agonizing wait ever. I was filled with paranoia, to be honest. I felt so nervous if I hadn’t gotten the job. Then a few days later I received an email saying that I had got the job etc. I was so happy. Honestly, I cannot wait to start working there and I love their homeware section. I mean I love their clothes and shoes, but their homeware give me life!

To be honest, I don’t really know the entire purpose of this post, however, it is something new in my life, and I thought I would share that with you! Also, if you planning on going to an interview for Anthro, just be your charming self and wear clothes you feel comfortable in. That’s what’s more important!

Bye Guys!

♡♡ Exciting Parcel ♡♡

The other day if you are following me on my FaceBook page for my blog: @TheWolfnFox, then you will have seen that I had received quite a large parcel.

So all in all, I ordered myself* an iMac, it was entirely out of my back pocket, so before anyone starts “You parents bought it”, naa I bought it myself. The reason I built it myself really, was because it was so darn cheap. No lie, I bought a 21.5″ iMac for £668, thanks, Amazon.

The reason it was so cheap is because it was a refurb I believe, it was going to be around £800, but as Amazon was doing a deal for Prime members, I got 20% (ka-ching)

As being a lover of anything Apple, I really needed to buy it. My dad was like why? I said, “It will help with Uni work, and I’ll keep it downstairs for everyone to be able to use”. After I said this, he was thoroughly on board.

We’ve all wanted an iMac in the family and I think it’s a nice thing to have. It looks really elegant too, and stylish. I love that it is steel, looks so beautiful. I cannot wait to be able to have a proper desk area again and make it look really sleek and beautiful.

I’ve updated this to the newest Apple OS, OS Sierra. It did take some time to do this, however. I was busy backing up my laptop in the morning, then my computer arrived. Once my laptop finished backing up, I then had to deal with updated my MacBook to the OS. Then I had to transfer all my files to the iMac. It was a lot of effort.

I really didn’t get to play on my computer for a whole day as I was too busy trying to get all of that sorted.

But now that it’s fine and hunky-dory, I’m in love with it. It’s a great little addition to have and it’s going to help so much with Uni work. Also, it makes me feel like a proper business woman, and with my blog, I feel like I can do more. Like, I have a lot of emails to reply back to (when in fact I really don’t) – it just makes me feel pretty good.

The other day I was googling Washi Tapes, for my bullet journal, I came across many a website and I couldn’t decide which particular website to purchase from. Then I came across The Fox and Star (www.thefoxandstar.co.uk) they had many tapes that I was so desperate to buy. But I composed myself and I ordered two things from their website. These were some 2-way pastel pens and one washi tape.

These pastel pens are 2-ways are called Le Stylo Feutre – created by Iconic. This just means that they have 2 sides, one thick and thin nib. The washi tape is from the brand MT (Japanese) and the tape I purchased was called Label Watercolour. Altogether this order came to £14.15, which I think is pretty darn good, I’m a major sucker for stationery and I could’ve bought so much more.

Overall I’m really impressed with the website, I ordered these products on the 16th September and I just received them today so 4 days waiting I think is pretty good for an order. The brand is based in Edinburgh and I think that they 4-day wait is worth it.

Below are the images of the products 🙂

~~ Apps I love, and use ~~

Tonight’s gonna be a really chilled out blog post. I’m sat on my bed staring out at the beautiful moon, whilst Joe is playing on his PC (Miscreated if you were wondering) – and I thought let’s create a blog post, a short blog post, then I thought what could I possibly blog about so late at night? Then it hit me, I’ll create a simple post on the Apps that I use on my smartphone day to day.

My current phone is the Samsung S6 Edge, so it’s an android powered device. When I unlock my phone I see the ‘desktop’ of my phone and I don’t really use these apps, I just keep forgetting to get rid of them from the desktop off of my phone.

Typically I really enjoy going onto FaceBook, it’s terrible how often I can just scroll through FaceBook and not be bored. I also go onto Instagram and Snapchat quite regularly. I also like to have the WordPress app, as I like to keep tabs on how my blog is doing day-to-day and keep an eye on my stats.

Not entirely social, but I have to have Spotify on my phone, I need them workout playlists for whever I need a boost. Especially at Uni!

The main app that I use from this section, however, is Viridi. It’s basically a little succulent that grows in real time on your phone. I like this as I think it’s a rather cute app. I also have a succulent in real life so I suppose it’s a what’s the point app? But I think it’s rather sweet.

The app Stack is a really good engaging game! It’s so good. Seriously if after reading and looking at the images Stack should really be your go too game.

I really like to use the S Health app, I like to know how many steps I’m doing a day and recording down how much sleep I get. It sounds really laborious, however, I really like it and I like to know I’m doing.

For my health-related apps, I use quite a few for when it comes to that time of the month. I use roughly two-three as they each offer very different things. These are: Once, and EVE.

For relaxtion, I use two apps. Headspace, and Calm they are both similar but I like to switch it up between the two.

Even though this app isn’t really ‘Health’ related, it’s very good for staying focused. I use this mostly for Uni work, but it’s very relaxing and a really good app. You basically set a time for how much work you want to get done, and it’ll get a little shrub or a tree depending on how long you set it for. This app is called Forest.

For camera based apps I love VSCO it’s so beautiful and I love the effects that you can put onto your pictures. I was so happy when this came out onto Android!

Shopping apps are by far my favourite type of app to have on your phone! I’m a total shop-aholic and I love using these apps, Wanelo, DEPOP, and ASOS. I also gotta have my Subcard app on my phone too!

~~Why I haven’t been blogging lately ~~

Hi guys, I’m back! Sorry, I haven’t been blogging recently, I’ve been checking in on my blog with WordPress, and on Bloglovin’ and kept seeing that there were a few views on my blog. So, I was really happy with that, and I realised that I hadn’t been putting up any new content on my blog, and got sidetracked really.

This month has been pretty full on, to be honest. At the end of August, I purchased a new camera which is amazing. I bought the Nikon D3300, with just the one lens, which cost me £279. It sounds crazy but I thought I’m earning my own money, so why not. Also, the camera does do film options so that brings me up to should I start a YouTube channel?Seems crazy again, but I’m really considering it. I’m not too sure what sort of channel it would be, probably something to coincide with my blog. But it’s early days for now.

In the beginning of this month, myself and Joseph went away to Ireland. This was a surprise birthday gathering for my cousin. He had no idea we were coming, or my other cousin and his girlfriend, or even my brother for that matter.

Joe and I travelled from Manchester to Belfast, then we had to get a coach from Belfast to Derry where my auntie came to pick us up. We just chilled around in Derry and then went to pick up my cousin Josh and his girlfriend from the airport in Derry.

We then went to Letterkenny where my other aunt and her children live, so we drove by and dropped into say our hello’s and see them. I haven’t seen them for maybe 3 or so years so it was really nice to show my face.

Basically, this trip was really nice for me, because I got to see my family again. This was Joe’s first time going to Ireland so it was really nice and surprising for him. I think what’s more exciting about this trip is that it’s so secluded. Where my aunt lives, she lives in the middle of nowhere, and you don’t get Wi-Fi.

It’s nice being cut off from things.  But yeah, this was for my cousins surprise 40th bash so we all went to my aunt’s house at around 11pm and surprised my cousin in the living room. He had no idea and it was really nice to see him.

After that, we went back to my other cousin’s place and slept. The next morning we went out and did things, had a meal, had a party for my cousin. Crashed a wedding party at half 2 in the morning, you know standard things.

Anyway, I won’t go into all the details of our 4-day trip, however, I’ll show you some nice pictures of where we went and hopefully you guys you could even go to where we went and have these memories for yourselves.

Locations visited:

Derry, Letterkenny, Donegal, Glenvagh National Park, Shandon Hotel and Spa.
